Morristown Man Will Swim 22-Mile Relay To Fight Kids' Cancer

Grant Wentworth will join Olympic swimmers in Boston Harbor swim in July.

Morristown, N.J. – Grant Wentworth’s summer is going to be incredible, and his accomplishment will be for a tremendous cause.

The Morristown resident has joined Swim Across America and will swim in the 20th annual Boston Harbor Swim on July 8. He’ll be joined by Olympians Carlton Bruner, Janel Jorgenson McArdle, Kristy Kowal, Heather Petri, Craig Beardsley, Eric Wunderlich, and Erik Vendt.

The Boston Harbor swim benefits pediatric cancer programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center.

The swim is a 22-mile relay style open-water swim that begins at 7 a.m. from Rowes Wharf behind the Boston Harbor Hotel. Each individual participating in the event has a minimum fundraising pledge of $1,500.
