Morristown Needs These Streets Clear For Plowing Saturday
To make room for snow removal, no parking on these streets from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown will need some room to plow some streets this weekend. The town will prohibit parking on the following streets from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday:
- Clinton
- Pheonix
- Cobb
- Orchard (reschedule from Thursday)
- Vail (reschedule from Thursday)
- Garden St
- Hill St.
- Elm St
- Abbett Ave
- Valley View West

And it appears harsh weather may return to Morristown this weekend. The National Weather Service projects snow for Sunday and says 3-7 inches are possible. Here's the weekend forecast:

- Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22. West wind around 5 mph.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 37. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
- Saturday night: A chance of snow after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 24. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
- Sunday: Snow, mainly before 4pm. High near 32. North wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
- Sunday night: A chance of snow before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 15. Northwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
