Morristown Opening Garages During Snow For On-Street Parkers

Residents who park on the street or have on-street parking permits can park for free for a limited time in select garages.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown will allow residents who park on the street or have on-street parking permits to park in select garages during the snowstorm. Parking in the following garages will be available from 1 p.m. Wednesday through 9 a.m. Friday:

  • Dalton Garage at Cattano Avenue
  • Dehart Street Garage (very limited availability)
  • Ann/Bank Parking Garage

All vehicles must get removed by 9 a.m. Friday. Show a driver's license or proof of Morristown residency upon entering. Parking fees may be issued if vehicles don't get moved until after the removal time, and the removal date and time are subject to change.

The National Weather Service expects 2-4 inches of snow to accumulate during the day Wednesday, and 12-18 inches are possible Wednesday night. A winter storm warning for the area is in effect from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday.
