MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown police hope the public can bequeath some information on a cooling oil-barrel thief. In fact, three of them took such barrels from South + Pine American Eatery, according to authorities.

Three males came out of a gray van and removed the barrels from the back of the restaurant at about 2:15 p.m. Friday, police said. At the time of the incident, employees believed their contractors were removing the barrels.

Upon learning their contracted service didn't do this, they reported the theft.
