Morristown's Garbage Pickup Schedule Around 4th Of July Weekend

Since Independence Day is on a Sunday, operations remain normal. Here's the schedule for the upcoming days.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Holidays can create some confusion for garbage and recycling pickup. But since the Fourth of July is a Sunday this year, Morristown's collection schedule remains normal.

Here's the schedule for the next few days:

North Zone

  • Friday, July 2: household garbage and large trash
  • Tuesday, July 6: household garbage
  • Wednesday, July 7: glass, cans, Plastics 1 through 7

South Zone

  • Monday, July 5: household garbage, along with appliances, metals, electronics, car tires and car batteries
