Morristown's Schubiger, B-Ball Standout, Wins $1,000 Scholarship And N.J. Honors

High school senior among 217 statewide to be recognized at annual luncheon.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Abby Schubiger’s been making headlines her entire high school career. Now she’s being rewarded for her efforts on the court.

The Morristown High School senior and basketball standout has been named one of 217 New Jersey high school student-athletes to be recognized by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association and receive a scholarship.

Schubiger scored her 1,000th point in January of this year, just the icing on an amazing high school career. See more about that feat here.

She received a $1,000 scholarship from ShopRite at the annual NJSIAA luncheon.

Schubiger is one of 10 student-athletes in Morris County to receive the honors.
