NJ.com: Man Accused in Wife's Drowning Fights to Throw Out Confession
Miranda hearing continues Tuesday, Aug. 24.
A Superior Court judge this week was expected to decide if statements made by Kleber Cordova, of Morristown, can be used against him in his upcoming trial. Cordova, was arrested for the alleged bathtub drowning of his wife in 2008.
Superior Court judge Thomas Manahan saw Cordova on Monday and will resume the Miranda hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 24. Cordova, who speaks only Spanish, has been disputing the English translation of an alleged confession to police.
