Philly Pretzel Factory In Morristown To Give Away Free Pretzels

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Those who celebrate April 20th might want a soft pretzel or 10 today. But every Philly Pretzel Factory customer will be able to get one for free on a different holiday: National Pretzel Day.

Each franchised location, including Morristown's, will offer the free-pretzel deal Monday, April 26.

The Pennsylvania Dutch immigrants introduced pretzels to North America in the 19th century, according to National Day Calendar. Philadelphians consume 12 times as many pretzels as the national average, according to the website, so New Jersey might have some work to do.

Philly Pretzel Factory opened its first Morris County location in 2018 at 167 South St., Morristown. Along with the usual soft pretzels, many Philly Pretzel Factory locations also have Pretzel Dogs, Pretzel Cheesesteaks, Mini Cheeseburgers, Pepperoni Pretzel Melts and Cinnamon Pretzel Twists.
