Meet Meet Bear Adams

Eleventh Hour Rescue: Bear is a fun-loving Shepherd mix who is about 8 years old. He is a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you he is a total sweetheart. Bear needs someone who has dog experience and is willing to train him properly. One of his favorite things to do is take long hikes with his people. Bear would prefer a home with no small children or other pets. He rides nicely in a car and walks well on a leash. Meet Chip

Tri-Boro Animal Welfare: Chip is a 9 year old, 9 pound Chihuahua who came to our partner rescue as an owner surrender. Poor Chip lost the only family he ever knew because the kids wanted a puppy. Chip didn't like the puppy getting in his personal space and would bark. Instead of training the puppy to not be so rough with Chip, they got rid of Chip.

Chip is currently in one of our foster homes with several other small dogs. He loves to hang out on the couch with his person and watch TV. (He quickly bonded to his foster mom) He also likes laying out in the sun on pretty days. Chip is good with cats and good with other dogs that don't rough-house with him the way the puppy did. He has been around calmer big and small dogs and has done fine. Chip would be fine as an only dog as well. He would do well in an apartment or townhouse and taken on walks or in a home with a fenced in yard.
If you’re interested in meeting Chip please send us a Facebook message (www.facebook.com/triboroanimal) or email us at triboroanimal@gmail.com.
Meet Milo

Parsippany Animal Shelter: Milo is available for adoption! He is a young adult Parson Russell Terrier who came from the hoarding situation in Hunterdon County last month. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines, and is working on housebreaking. For more information, please call us (973) 263-7083 or come visit him. We are located at 1069 Parsippany Blvd, and are open Mon-Fri 3-5pm, Sat-Sun 9am-12pm, or by appointment.
