MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Autumn has had a difficult life so far. The 4-5 month old puppy spent most of her life tethered to a two-foot chain, with her collar embedded deeply into her neck.

Thankfully, Autumn broke off of her chain and was rescued by a neighbor, who was able to get her to a Tri-Boro Animal Welfare partner rescue, and she is on her way to a family.

The partner rescue helped get Autumn surgery, and had her spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Now, Autumn is a "total wiggle butt" and is looking for a new home!

Autumn will be arriving in a Tri-Boro Animal Welfare foster home tomorrow and needs a forever home. "Autumn didn’t have the easiest start to life but we are determined to help her find her happily ever after," the rescue says.
