MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Morristown Department of Public Safety issued a simple reminder: lock your doors. As the weather starts warming, Morris County sees a rise in thefts from parked vehicles, according to authorities.
"These thefts are usually crimes of opportunity and take place from cars that have not been locked for the night. Please take a minute every night to make sure you remove valuables from your car and lock your doors. Don't give a thief the chance they need."
