South Street Dance Coming to Morristown

A new dance studio is coming to South Street this September.

South Street Dance, at 51 South St. (in the back of the Dr. Lewis Condict House, where is located), is set to open on Sept. 17.

Owned by Annie Forgione, who also has operated Annie's Playhouse in Far Hills for seven years, South Street Dance will focus more on dance, musical theater, singing and acting than its big sister, said manager Emily Frank.

"We're pretty established there and we were ready to expand," Frank said. "We were just ready to take the next step."

The studio will contain four-to-five private rooms and a large main room, which can be divided into two smaller rooms. "The space is great," Frank said.

"There's not much dance in Morristown," the manager added. "It's a great area. We were just ready to take the next step."
