Teen Hit By Car Leaving Football Game Still In Morris Co. ICU

A prayer service for the teen will be held this Friday outside of Morristown Medical Center.

DOVER, NJ — A Dover teenager hit by a car after leaving a football game has remained in critical condition this week, and the community will come together in prayer this Friday, Dover Mayor James P. Dodd said.

The teen was struck while crossing Route 46 on Friday night after attending a football game at Morris Knolls High School. "Since the accident, the young man has been in the intensive care unit at Morristown Medical Center," Dodd said.

Together with the Dover Faith Based Network, Dodd will hold a candlelight prayer vigil on Friday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. The vigil will be held at the park across from Morristown Medical Center on Madison Ave, between the East and West parking garages.
