Tiny Dog Needs Food Allergy Friendly NJ Home

This older dog was left at an inner-city shelter because her old family couldn't cope with her food allergies.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — This 9-year-old pup was happy in her old home, but she was given over to a municipal, inner-city shelter when her former owners decided her food allergies were too much to handle. Now, she's looking for a second home.

Dolly is a 9-year-old miniature Poodle and Shih Tzu mix. Her food allergies don't hold her back: she is good with other pets, and loves to give kisses, Wise Animal Rescue says. She is friendly and loves to cuddle.

"Dolly is a low-energy girl who doesn't need much--just a comfy bed, a human who wants to snuggle with her, and some snacks!" the rescue says. "If you're looking for an easygoing, sweet girl to add to your family, apply to adopt Dolly today!"
