Truck Crash Leaves Morris County Family In Moving Limbo

The family moved in a month ago. Unfortunately, their belongings have not yet joined them.

LONG HILL, NJ— Moving can be stressful for almost anyone, but for one Morris County family, their move has been nothing short of horrific, after a moving truck crash landed their belongings across the New Jersey Turnpike-- and stuck in an impound lot.

The Fortino family moved into a home in the Millington section of Long Hill last month, but told CBS 2 that their belongings have yet to join them.

According to the report, the moving truck they hired crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike, sending their things flying. Now, their boxes are reportedly stuck in an impound lot in Carteret.
