WATCH: Morristown's Schubiger Scores 1,000th Point For Girls Basketball Team

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The game was a blowout, but that didn’t stop Morristown’s Abby Schubiger from notching the biggest personal achievement in her high school career.

The senior starter for the girls basketball team made history by notching her 1,000th point Tuesday night in a romp over Pope John, 49-27. According to nj.com, Schubiger hit her 19th point of the night and 1,000th overall with less than a minute left in the contest.

Next year Schubiger will bring her basketball prowess to the court at Colgate.
