MORRISTOWN, NJ - The frigid temperatures led to a dawn water main break on Thursday, complicating travel on Ridgedale Avenue, according to the Morristown Police Department.

According to authorities the break is causing icy conditions across Ridgedale at the intersection of Abbett Avenue. Police noted that the Department of Public Works has been notified to salt the roadway but that icy conditions should be expected in the area as should traffic delays.

Residents may also experience issues with their water while repairs are made, police said.
