MORRISTOWN, NJ — South Street's westbound lanes will be closed during certain hours for several weeks. Beginning this Monday, closures will last each night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. as a new water main gets installed.

Westbound traffic on South Street will get detoured to Pine Street, Dumont Place and then onto the Morristown Green (Route 202). Officials will also prohibit parking on the westbound (even-numbered) side during the work.

Eastbound traffic and parking will remain normal during the project. Exercise caution if traveling through the area during work hours.
