4 Arrests Made In Connection With Newark Shooting: Police
Residents of Newark, Hillside, Edison and the Bronx have been charged with aggravated assault in connection with the shooting, police said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police charged four men with aggravated assault in connection with a shooting that took place earlier this month in the South Ward of the city, authorities announced Thursday.
The men – Naim Jones, 18, of Edison, Justen Couram, 19, of Hillside, Tayvaun Caparitia, 20, of the Bronx, N.Y., and Nasir Osorto, 19, of Newark – were arrested on April 8, a day after the shooting occurred at 10:56 p.m. on the 200-block of Pomona Avenue.
Each suspect was charged with aggravated assault, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
