Newark police and the Essex County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old Newark man. The Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force will investigate the shooting of Jahid Devlin, officials said. Devlin was found on 13th Avenue near South 7th Street. He had been shot multiple times, officials said.
