Extended Airline Delays in Northeast; Equipment to Blame
The FAA says all New York-area airports are experiencing delays.

Air travelers were experiencing delays as long as two hours, and seemingly getting longer, at all New York area airports Saturday night because of an equipment failure, the FAA reported.
Flights are subject to ground delays, and social media included many messages from travelers stuck on runways.
The affected airports are LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy International, Newark International, West Chester and Teterboro. Typically, delays at such busy airports cause problems at other airports in the aviation network. The FAA suggests contacting your airline for information on delays.
