Holiday Pop Up Shop in Newark’s South Ward

The Bergen-Lyons-Clinton Partnership, known in Newark as the South Ward Special Improvement District (SID), will join with local merchants to present a Pop-Up Holiday Shop on Bergen Street in the heart of the district on Friday, December 15th from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 16th from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.Support local small business owners and entrepreneurs showcasing original designs and handmade crafts including jewelry, clothing and accessories, handmade books and cards, wall art, soap, candles, wood and more. As part of the fun, the SID will host a free family night on Friday with a movie and hot chocolate and a Sip & Shop on Saturday with free cider and treats.

The SID will also provide Blessing Boxes for the community to drop off new and gently used coats or winter items as well as new and unwrapped toys, pajamas and socks for our neighbors without addresses.
Organized by the South Ward SID, the Holiday Pop Up Shop is a great place for local vendors and there is still time to participate at minimal cost. A heated tent will be provided. For more information email southwardsid@gmail.com or call 973-851-3496.
