NEWARK, NJ — Police are searching for a woman who allegedly bit an employee on the ear and attacked two other people at a nail salon in Newark last week, authorities say.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, officers responded to Angel Nails Spa on Jones Street around 11:20 a.m. on June 23.

The salon employee told police that her assailant arrived at the shop to get a pedicure. But she soon became “irate and belligerent” about the service she got. After an argument broke out, the woman bit her on the ear, police said.
