Man Kicks In Newark Woman’s Door, Punches Her: Police
A man kicked in a woman's door, looking for her friend. When she told him she couldn't help, he punched her in the face, police said.
NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are trying to find a man who allegedly kicked in a woman’s door and punched her several times in the face, authorities announced Monday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the incident took place on June 14, and was captured on surveillance video.

“Police responded to a call around 10:55 p.m. about someone screaming for help from an apartment on the 500-block of Central Avenue. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that the suspect, who was looking for her friend, kicked in the apartment door and punched her in the face several times after she could not tell him where he could find her friend.”
Newark police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who is about 5 feet 6 inches and was wearing a black fanny bag across his shoulders (see below photos).
