A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing in New Jersey may be in the Newark or Elizabeth area, police said Tuesday.

Newark police are seeking the public’s help finding Jaqueil Vazquez, 14, who was reported missing from Voorhees Township after entering a silver sedan on Sunday.

Police said Vazquez is 5 feet 8 inches and about 165 pounds. She wears eyeglasses, and was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and gray sweatpants with yellow sneakers.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jaqueil Vazquez can call the department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the police division’s website at www.newarkpd.org, or through the Newark Police Department’s smartphone app.
