Monmouth County Resident Fatally Shot In Newark: Police
A Millstone resident died after being shot in Newark, authorities said.
NEWARK, NJ — A Millstone resident died after being shot in Newark earlier this week, authorities said. No arrests have been made as of Wednesday.
Halee A. Wing, 42, of Millstone, was shot on the 100-block of Pacific Street on Tuesday. He was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:38 p.m., according to a joint statement from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Newark Public Safety Department.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, is investigating the fatal shooting.
