NEWARK, NJ — Want to lend a hand to a busy animal shelter that’s been “running at capacity?”
Earlier this week, the Associated Humane Societies (AHS) Newark shelter announced on social media that it was “running at capacity daily.” Learn more about the Newark shelter, which is located at 124 Evergreen Avenue.
To help find its dogs and cats new homes, the AHS facility reduced adoption fees in an effort to “move animals out.” Rescue groups are welcome to pull, the shelter stated.
