Newark Beth Israel Honors Latifah, DiVincenzo at Gala
Surgical Director of the Cardiac Transplantation and Medical Device Program Dr. Margarita Camacho recognized with Medical Award.
Newark Beth Israel Medical Center recently honored singer Queen Latifah, Dr. Margarita Camacho and Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr at a ceremony at the hospital’s Partners in Progress Gala Awards dinner.
Latifah was the recipient of the Community Service Award at the April 30 affair, while Camacho, who serves as the hospital’s Surgical Director of the Cardiac Transplantation and Medical Device Program, received the Medical Award. DiVincenzo was recognized with the Public Service Leadership Award at the ceremony.
