Newark Independence Day 2019: Where To Find Fireworks Nearby

NEWARK, NJ — Find out where to see some nearby fireworks for Independence Day 2019 if you live in Newark. Patch will update this article if more events/info becomes available.

As part of its 2018 Essex County Free Summer Music Concert Series, the county will host three concert/fireworks spectaculars at Branch Brook Park, Weequahic Park and Brookdale Park. (Learn more here)

Those events include:

• Friday, June 28 at Branch Brook Park, Heller Parkway, Newark - New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Fireworks Spectacular, 7:30 p.m.
• Monday, July 1 at Weequahic Park, Newark – Total Soul, 7:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 3 at Brookdale Park, Bloomfield/Montclair - New Power Soul, 7:30 p.m.
