Newark Public Schools will shut down at 1 p.m. due to the winter storm bearing down on New Jersey.
Parents are being asked to arrange for their children to be picked up as all after-school programs are cancelled.
Kipp New Jersey, which operates Team Charter in Newark and Kipp Cooper Norcross Academy in Camden, is closing all New Jersey campuses at 12:30 p.m.
