P.O.P Marching Against Police Brutality

Starting Nov. 8, the People's Organization for Progress will participate in three rallies, aimed at ending police brutality.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, the People’s Organization for Progress will host a rally and march for Kashad Ashford.

Ashford was shot and killed last month by police officers in Bergen County under what the People’s Organization for Progress believes to be “highly questionable circumstances.” He is said to have been “both unarmed and unconscious in car that crashed after a short police pursuit when he was then shot nine times.”

Participants will assemble at the Lincoln Memorial on Springfield Ave across from Essex County College at 3:30 p.m.
