Searching For Missing Person? Find ‘Support, Hope’ At NJ Event
New Jersey families coping with missing persons cases can meet others and coordinate search efforts with police at an event in Newark.
NEWARK, NJ — “Strength, support, encouragement and hope.” That’s what the New Jersey State Police will be offering to families and friends of missing persons during a free, public event in Newark on Saturday, May 18.
According to a news release, state police will hold “ID The Missing & Bring Them Home” from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Rutgers University Center for Law and Justice, 123 Washington Street in Newark.
At the event, families coping with missing persons cases can get a chance to meet others in similar positions, and can coordinate with police in an effort to find their missing loved ones.

People attending the event should bring:

- 2 biological relatives of your missing loved one
- Police reports
- X-rays (dental and body)
- Doctor and dentist information
- Photographs
- Any other identifying documents
