South Ward SID Hosting Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting In Newark
The South Ward SID will host a holiday parade and tree lighting event in Newark on Dec. 16.
NEWARK, NJ — The South Ward SID will host a holiday parade and tree lighting event in Newark on Monday, Dec. 16.
According to an online event posting, the celebration will take place starting at 6 p.m. between Lehigh and Renner avenues. A procession will begin at the Bergen Street parkette.
Participants are welcome to bring an ornament to hang on the tree, organizers said. (Learn more about this local event)
