Teriyaki Madness Makes NJ Debut With Store Near Rutgers-Newark
The first five customers who order an entrée will win free bowls for a year. See details for the Newark restaurant's grand opening event.
NEWARK, NJ — The madness has come to Newark… teriyaki madness, that is.
On Tuesday, Sept. 17, Newark resident Yash Jagad will hold a grand opening event for the first Teriyaki Madness in New Jersey. The new shop is located at 137 Halsey Street, just two blocks away from Rutgers University.
The grand opening will kick off at 11 a.m. The first five customers who order an entrée will win free bowls for a year, while the next 20 customers who order an entrée will win free bowls for a month, according to a news release.

“To be honest, I think this concept would be a good fit anywhere,” Jagad said. “But I’m especially excited to bring the brand to my community because Newark and Teriyaki Madness share a similar confidence as a city and brand both on the rise.”
