Watch America’s Most ‘Christmasy’ Cement Truck Cruise N.J. Highway

NEWARK, NJ — A 26,000-pound cement truck cruises down Route 21 in Newark, its entire surface illuminated in multi-color Christmas lights. As it powers down the highway, it shines with a brilliance that even Rudolph the Reindeer would envy, its presence on the roadway a smile-inducing, gaudily majestic celebration of the glory of holiday excess.

But that’s Christmas in Jersey for you.

Local videographer Jeff Stang recently shared an awesome video of a Christmas light-laden cement truck traveling down a Newark highway. It’s a perfect representation of Newark, according to one internet commenter who saw the video.

“Yeah, that's the Brick City,” they deadpanned.
