World Cup Champs Return To USA, Get Cheers At Newark Airport
The soccer stars made a triumphant return to U.S. soil at Newark Airport after their victory in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.

NEWARK, NJ — Team USA made a triumphant return to U.S. soil at Newark Airport on Monday after their thrilling victory in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.
The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team was met with a huge ovation for their world-class effort in France, which ended with a 2-0 win against the Netherlands on Sunday.

The crews at Newark Airport offered the returning champs a “water cannon salute” in a show of support. (Story continues below)

New York City announced it will honor the World Cup champs with a ticker-tape parade in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday. The parade kicks-off at 9:30 a.m.
