Beautification Committee completes first project in Dumont

Volunteers beautify hub of the community in advance of Memorial Day weekend

On Saturday, May 18, 2019, the Dumont Beautification Committee completed its first project, a tribute at the corner of West Shore Avenue and Madison Avenue honoring the community's veterans.

The Committee would like to thank and acknowledge its volunteers for all their hard work in helping to beautify the town: Shahana Williams, Cailyn Williams, Camryn Williams, Janine Frigerio Aiello, Andrea Jimenez, Jose Jimenez, and Elaine Pizzute-Ashare.

The Committee would also like to thank Louie from the Dumont Crystal Diner for providing the volunteers with bottled water, and master gardener Anna Fisichella for all of her assistance.
