Council Meeting and Continued United Water Hearing Coming This Week
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in New Milford this week

MONDAY: The Mayor and Council have a 7pm work session on the second floor of Borough Hall.
TUESDAY: The Planning Board meets at 7:30pm.
WEDNESDAY: The New Milford Senior Activity Center will host "Crafts and Needlework" classes at 1pm and may include: knitting, crochet, tatting, Armenian lace, needlepoint, Bargello, counted cross stitch, crewel embroidery, Hardanger and cut work, quilting and crazy quilting, ribbon flower embroidery, bead work, and jewelry, special Holiday decorations and more, T-shirt decoration. Students work on the craft and project of choice, all are given individual instruction beginner and experienced alike."

THURSDAY: The Zoning Board meets at 7pm where United Water/Hekemian development planner Peter Steck is to continue answer questions by residents following last week's testimony.Â
SATURDAY: Is paperwork cluttering your house? Afraid to put things to curb? Worried about Identity Theft? Bring your papers and have them shredded before your eyes from 10am to 12pm at Oradell Borough Hall parking lot. Donation of $10 per box suggested.Â

A  will be held at the Blauvelt Mansion, from 7:30-11pm in Memory of the Great Ship R.M.S. Titanic (which sank 101 years ago on April 14, 1912) and honoring the endangered historic Blauvelt Mansion (117 years old) and the historic Hackensack Water Works (131 years old). This will be the final time the Mansion will be open for a non-profit organization's event following its purchase by Care One. Â
SUNDAY: Sponsored by the Oradell Special Events Committee, the borough will host its first-ever K-9 Karnival on Sunday, 1 to 5pm at the Oradell Senior Veteran's Buildingparking lot. This family oriented event for dog owners will include tail waggin' fun, puppy parade, adoption/rescue, great food and fun for the entire family.
