The Jewish Community Center of Paramus will be seeing an increase in congregants going forward thanks to a "joining agreement" with the Beth Tikvah synagogue of New Milford. Beth Tikvah recently sold its synagogue in New Milford due to a decline in membership. 

Simulated DUI Sends Strong Message to NMHS Seniors

Doreen Zacher, the district’s Student Assistance Coordinator and Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) specialist, coordinated the annual DUI simulation the day before prom as a way to get students to think twice before they decide to take that drink. The New Milford Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. participation in this simulated exercise makes it seem like a real event.

Rain Can't Dampen New Milford High School's Senior Prom

The rain held out precisely long enough to start the second the prom-goers arrived on the great lawn of New Milford High School for the annual pre-prom photo shoot.

But nothing could dampen the spirits of these teens, dressed in their best and ready to get the evening started at Il Villaggio in Carlstadt. Here's a look at some of the best-dressed promsters in Bergen County.

Senior Citizens Have a Blast at Their "Hooray for Hollywood" Prom

The sixth annual Senior Citizens Prom was held May 30 at New Milford High School. The prom, sponsored by the Tri-M Music and Art Honor Societies, as well as the Choral Ensemble, was a hit with over 160 senior citizens and members of the surrounding communities embracing the special night.
