The developer of the United Water property has rescinded its donation of three acres to the Board of Education for a field, the New Milford Schools Superintendent told a crowd that gathered in the New Milford High School auditorium Monday night.

Doreen Zacher, the district’s Student Assistance Coordinator and Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) specialist, coordinated the annual DUI simulation the day before prom as a way to get students to think twice before they decide to take that drink. The New Milford Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance Corps. participation in this simulated exercise makes it seem like a real event.

Senior Citizens Have a Blast at Their "Hooray for Hollywood" Prom

The sixth annual Senior Citizens Prom was held May 30 at New Milford High School. The prom, sponsored by the Tri-M Music and Art Honor Societies, as well as the Choral Ensemble, was a hit with over 160 senior citizens and members of the surrounding communities embracing the special night.
