Dumont 2019 Memorial Day Services and Parade

Annual community tradition begins Monday at 7:30 a.m.

Dumont's traditional Memorial Day observation will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019.

Services will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the cemetery on Prospect Avenue and Madison Avenue, followed by a service at the memorial monument at Washington Avenue and Madison Avenue at 7:45 a.m.

The parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. at Pershing Street. It will follow a route west down Madison Avenue to Prospect Avenue, then north to New Milford Avenue, then east to Memorial Park on Pershing, where there will be a ceremony honoring Dumont's veterans. There will be no parking permitted along the parade route.

This year's parade Grand Marshal will be Korean War veteran Frank Uvenio.
