NEW MILFORD, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in New Milford.

There are a number of races on the New Milford ballot this year, including for mayor.

Locally, four people are vying for two seats on the municipal council: Republicans Jeffrey DelVecchio and Malcoln Sillars and Democrats Frances Randi Duffie and Lisa Repasky-Sandhusen.

Laure Schroeder and Matthew Seymour are vying for an unexpired term on the council.

Two people are vying for a one-year unexpired term on the board of education: Anthony Albro and Ashley Adams.

Three people are running unopposed for three seats on the board: Tonia Andrews, Heather Gomez, and Judith Rabinowitz-McSweeney.

No one filed a petition to run for a two-year unexpired term.

Residents will also vote for two people to represent the 38th Legislative District in the New Jersey State Assembly: Democratic incumbents Lisa Swain and Christopher Tully and Republicans Michael A. Kazimir and Christopher DiPazza.

There are six people running for three seats on the Board of Chosen Freeholders: Republicans Corrado Belgiovine, Alyssa K. Dawson, and Kathleen E. Cericola and Democrats Thomas J. Sullivan, Mary Amoroso, and Germaine Ortiz.
