Ex-New Milford Rec. Director Charged After $92K Goes Missing: Police
BREAKING: John Bigger, 57, failed to deposit the recreation registrations, police said.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — The former recreation director has been charged with misapplying entrusted government property after authorities discovered a $92,000 shortfall, police said.
John Bigger, 57, failed to deposit the $92,000 in recreation registrations, said Detective Sgt. Kevin Van Saders.
Police investigated after Administrator Christine Demiris reported the shortfall to police in February, Saders said.

Bigger was the recreation director in 2016, but did not return to the position this year.
Police found some of the missing money during their investigation.

Bigger was served a summons and is scheduled to appear in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court, police said.
