Here Is What The Average New Milford Teacher Earns

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Some Bergen County teachers are among the highest paid in New Jersey, information from the state released recently shows.

Locally, New Milford teachers make a median salary of $60,870, which is 425th highest in New Jersey and 65th highest in Bergen County.

Northern Valley Regional in Bergen County takes the ultimate top spot in the Garden State with a median salary of $108,867.

The salary information is for the 2018-19 school year. It is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary in every New Jersey school district and charter school. Overall, 273 school districts make more than the state median of $66,150.

In addition to median salaries, the site also shows each district's total spending, average daily enrollment and students from sending districts, the per-pupil costs and the district's total budget spending for 2017 and 2018.
