Lady Knights Unbeaten Streak Ends at Five Games
The tennis and track teams also picked up a pair of wins this past week

After racing out to an undefeated five game winning streak, bolstered by senior shortstop Carly Lesko's powerful bat, the Lady Knights picked up their first loss of the season, a 4-3 upset to Park Ridge this past week.
Lesko, who blasted three home runs this week (including one grand slam), led New Milford with huge victories over Holy Angels (16-8), Leonia (10-0) and Harrison (12-0) prior to the loss.
Against the Lady Owls, New Milford took a 1-0 lead to start but Park Ridge banged in four runs in the first inning and then limited New Milford to one run in the second and third innings before completly shutting down the Lady Knights offense.
