Missing Spouse, Teen Son: New Milford Police Blotter
Two New Milford residents were reported missing between June 23 and July 7.
NEW MILFORD, NJ — On June 29 a Faller Drive resident reported that his spouse was missing and the spouse was found the following day. A few days later, on July 3, a teen was also reported missing and found days later in Rochelle Park.

On June 23: At around 8:55 a.m. a Myrtle Avenue resident reported that someone was trying to extort money from him through a third party pone application. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.

On June 24: At around 5:22 p.m. a Windsor Road resident reported that someone opened a bank account in her name. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.
On June 25: At around 9:55 a.m. an Asbury Street resident reported that someone damaged his vehicle. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.

On June 25: At 10:05 a.m. a River Road resident reported a suspicious incident involving a contractor at her home. The matter was forwarded to the apartment complex management.
On June 25: At around 4:39 p.m. a Hoffman Avenue resident reported that her vehicle was burglarized overnight. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.
On June 27: At around 12:47 a.m. an officer arrested a 69-year-old man from Montclair for drug possession, careless driving, and failure to signal following a traffic stop. The man was released on a summons with a return court date in CJP Court.
On June 27: At around 5:52 p.m. a 42-year-old woman from Dumont was arrested, following a shoplifting report by the Shop Rite of New Milford. The woman was released on a summons with a return court date in New Milford.
On June 28: At around 10:26 a.m. a Boulevard resident reported that she was scammed out of $5,000 through a fraudulent website. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.
On June 29: At around 12:47 a.m. a Bulger Avenue resident reported that his neighbor was harassing him. The resident was told about his rights to pursue criminal complaints
On June 29: At around 8:10 a.m. a Faller Drive resident reported his spouse missing. The missing party was located later in the day in Paramus in good health.
On June 29: At around 4:50 p.m. a Central Park Drive resident reported that someone tried to open a credit card in his name. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.
On July 1: At around 9:34 p.m. a 44-year-old man from New Milford was arrested for driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving and obstructed windshield following a response to a car crash. The man was taken to New Bridge Medical Center for intoxication and turned over to hospital staff.
On July 2: At around 7:43 p.m. a Stockton Street resident reported that someone tried to deposit fraudulent checks in his name. All information was turned over to the Detective Bureau.
On July 3: At around 11:38 a.m. a Boulevard resident reported her teenage juvenile son missing. The son was found a few days later in Rochelle Park.
On July 3: At around 10:39 p.m. a 70-year-old man from New Milford was arrested for driving while under the influence, reckless driving and failure to comply with officers' orders following a report of a car crash. The man was transported to New Bridge Medical Center for intoxication and turned over to hospital staff.
On July 6: At around 1:42 p.m. a Bergen Avenue resident reported that a license plate was stolen from her trailer. The license plate was entered as stolen into the national database computer system.
