New Milford Celebrates Teachers of the Year This Week
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in New Milford this week

MONDAY: The Board of Education will honor its four Teachers of the Year during its 7pm meeting at the high school media center. This year's honorees are Nora Aivers (NMHS), Stacey Calise (Gibbs), Pamela Krause (DEOMS) and Dora Oliviero (Berkley). Oliviero was also named District Teacher of the Year.
TUESDAY: Free AARP tax aide assistance is available at the library though an appointment. The program is available for all seniors and others with low to moderate income. It offers free tax preparation, including federal and New Jersey state returns. To make an appointment please call the Library Reference Desk at 201 262-1221 ext. 209
WEDNESDAY: It's karaoke night at Jersey Boys starting at 8pm. Sing one of over 13,000 options and best of all it's also Ladies Night at the River Road restaurant.

THURSDAY: Seniors can play shuffleboard, cards, rummy cube, or pool at the Senior Activity Center starting at 1pm.
FRIDAY: The Art Center of Northern New Jersey is sponsoring children's art enrichment courses after school hours with Two and Three Dimensional Art (ages 10 and up) today.
