New Milford Knights Freshman Basketball Team Wins Championship Tournament
The Knights played Garfield in the Championship game with its stingy defense, quickness and good execution, which led them to win by 55-40.

The New Milford Knights Freshman Varsity team played in the 3-day 2014 winter Basketball league at Elmwood Park, where they played a total of 3 games and won by big margins and in double digits.
The Knights played Garfield in the Championship game with its stingy defense, quickness and good execution, which led the Knights to win the Championship Tournament with a score of 55-40.

“The boys played well, [had] good defense and executed their plays well,“ said New Milford Coach Barese.
It is the first Championship tournament the Freshman varsity won in sometime for New Milford.
