New Milford Salon Raising Money For Sick Single Mom

Louris Wanissian suffered a brain hemorrhage Tuesday.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — A borough salon is raising money to help a woman who suffered a brain hemorrhage Tuesday.

Louris Wanissian suffered a intracerebral hemorrhage that damaged her brain and resulted in a blood clot.

The clot was removed, but the next two to three days for Wanissian "are very critical," according to a GoFundMe page created to raise money for Wanissian and her son, Gabe.

"This is incredibly unfortunate for anyone, this will be a very trying time for the Gabe and his mom," the entry on the GoFundMe page stated. "Gabe has always been Louris' number one priority and with the cost of living expenses, food, medical bills ahead every little bit from all will help them both so much."

Wanissian faces a long road to recovery.
