In Person 8-Mile And 5K Road Races Happening July 31
Registration is $25 and ends July 16. The first 300 runners to register will get a t-shirt.
NEW MILFORD — Whether you can run a 5K or go as far as an 8-mile run, it might be time to start getting ready.
The New Milford 53rd Annual 8 Mile and 18th 5K Road Road are happening July 31.
According to the organization, the New Milford 8-mile Road Race is the third oldest race of its kind in the state. It follows the same path as in previous years, going through the hilly course in rural New Milford, including Canterbury Hill.

The 5K run is a scenic course up into New Milford. Both end on the south side of the Town Green.
There are a few changes due to COVID-19. Runners will need to bring their own hydration, as there will be no water stops. While this is subject to change, as of now masks must be worn at all times. Social distancing should also be practiced.

There will be no cash prizes, course record prize, or award ceremony following the run.

Starting time is at 8:30 a.m. at the Town Green.
