Democrats Sweep New Milford Mayor, Council Races
Michael Putrino is getting a promotion from council president to mayor.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — Democrats swept the mayor and council races in this year's general election.
Democrat Michael Putrino, the current council president, ran for mayor against Republican Jose Alonso.
Incumbents Democratic council members Hedy Grant and Thea Sirocchi-Hurley ran for re-election against Republicans Joanne Prisendort and Jeffrey DelVecchio.

Four Board of Education candidates, all incumbents ran unopposed for re-election: Laura O'Grady, Joseph Steele, and Jason Levine got their three, three-year terms back. Heather Gomez ran unopposed for an unexpired one-year term.
